Gifford is a small picturesque village
in rural East Lothian approximately 30 - 40 minutes from central
Edinburgh. The village has 2 hotels offering excellent choice
of food just 2 minutes walk from Legerwood. There are many lovely areas for walking with the Lammermuir Hills some 3 miles from Gifford. East Lothian's fine beaches and many golf courses such as Muirfield and North Berwick are within easy reach, with Gifford itself having 2 golf courses in the vicinity. The Scottish Border Towns are also worth a visit. |
